Belfast Children’s Festival is an annual international festival for children aged 0 – 17 years and their accompanying adults. Events take place both in and out of school time for schools, groups and families to attend.

You can expect a packed programme of theatre, visual art, music, dance, literature, workshops and talks, guaranteed to inspire joy, creativity and curiosity.

The Belfast Children’s Festival is a curated festival and, as such, doesn’t receive submissions. However, our Director travels to festivals in Europe, although her travel budget is limited, so if you are performing at a festival do let us know and we will keep an eye out for your work.
