This unique event has its roots in the 19th century but has evolved over time to become one of Nottinghamshire’s largest one day village festivals.

Join Wellow for this FREE event which includes entertainment, food & drink, dancing and the crowning of the May Queen.

This traditional family friendly event unique in Nottinghamshire and features a procession, crowning of the May Queen and maypole dancing around the 17m high permanent maypole.

Includes professional gun dog displays, live music, Scottish country dancing, vintage tractors, Punch and Judy, children’s swingboats, craft and gift stalls, games….we try to appeal to the whole family!

Delicious cream teas and home made cakes will be available in the village hall too!

Parking and admission is free, purchase of the programme (£2) is encouraged to aid fundraising for next year’s event.
