Can I submit an event into more than one section?

Yes, As long as the event is relevant to the section in question then you can submit it into as many sections as you wish. Here at Nearby Events we don’t want to “swamp” Sections with irrelevant material that will make it difficult for people to find exactly what they want, so any event that is irrelevant to that section it will be removed.

I can’t find a relevant section for my event

Please put your event into the ‘Miscellaneous’ section and let us know by email info@nearbyevents.co.uk. The team regularly monitor the sections and number of events within each section, if the demand is strong enough we will change the sections to suit what the majority of people are interested in.

How do I get Photographs added to my event?

Standard Membership allows you to submit 2 photographs per event they need to be attached to the submission document and they will be included automatically.
Premium Membership allows additional photographs, documents and posters to be included, again these just need to be attached to the submission document.

How can I get my event featured?

Contact info@nearbyevents.co.uk and we’ll forward the latest pricing document

How can I make my event more prevalent?

All events will be classified in date order, if you want to be at the top of the list for longer contact info@nearbyevents.co.uk for the latest information on prices.

What if I find and attend an event not listed on Nearby Events?

Let the organisers know or pass the details onto the Nearby Events Team info@nearbyevents.co.uk and we’ll will contact the organiser and make sure its included.

Can I subscribe to your website to receive alerts and notifications?

Of course, please fill in the subscription form which asks for interests and locations and we alert you when events pop up that may interest you.

How long can an event be, and can I post well in advance?

Events can be listed at any time for up to 12 months duration, but they will be automatically removed following the end date of the event.

When will my event appear?

Usually within 24hours of posting.

Do I have to delete my event?

You can manage your event(s) on your member page, including “Sold out” or “Cancelled” and events can be deleted at any time, but they will automatically close following the event end date.

Can I link to my own website?

Yes you can link websites, Twitter and Facebook and for Premium Members you can link You Tube videos, posters and leaflets as well.

Will my email address be shown?

No. People can contact you using the “Contact event organiser” icon on your live page. No email address will be passed on or shared.

What is the difference between Standard, Premium and Commercial membership?

Standard Membership which is FREE includes;
Access to a private Members area to manage all your events, email address, password changes etc.
4 events / annum
2 Photographs can be uploaded for each event
500- character description.
Links to your existing web page, Twitter or Face book accounts
Your event will be listed in Date order for up to 6 months prior to the start date.

This membership is ideal for an organisation, Groups or Clubs that hold a small number of events for fund raising each year.

 

Premium membership is £15/annum and includes;
Access to a private Members area to manage all your events, email address, password changes etc.
Reoccurring events, i.e. monthly Markets or gigs.
Unlimited number of separate or individual events can be posted.
5 Photographs can be uploaded for each separate event.
1000-character description.
Links to your existing web page, Twitter, Face book accounts and You Tube
Featured on event sector Home Page linked to location so it’s one of the first event shown when searched for by location, also listed in date order.
Unlimited number of events / annum.

This membership is ideal for an organisation, small Companies, Groups or Clubs that hold a number of different events across the year.

Commercial membership PAO
Access to a private Members area to manage all your events, email address, password changes
Reoccurring events, i.e. monthly Markets, sessional events, open days or music events.
Unlimited number of separate or individual events can be posted.
12 photographs can be uploaded for each separate event.
2000-character description.
Links to your existing web page, Twitter, Face book accounts and You Tube
Banner advertising on Home Page, linked to location also listed in date order.
Unlimited number of events / annum.

This membership is ideal for large organisations, Country Homes and large event organises that hold a number of different events across different sectors across the year.
